| Excerpt | Bellu Cemetery from Bucharest, like every monumental cemetery, is a place where history meets art and tombs tell stories about people who rest here. This article, a short part from a more developed study, presents the main Romanian architects’ tombs and monuments in Bellu Cemetery. By professional reasons, the choise of the subject shaped from other different researches, looking for the authors of personalities’ funerary monuments. For the beginning, there are described almost 30 graves of all kind of shapes and dimensions. A few lines and ideas for each is not enough but we consider it a good start for future explorations. |
