The speech here rendered was held on occasion of the 90th anniversary session „The City and its Museum -Bridges over Time", organized by Anca Beatrice Todireanu and dr. Lelia Zamani, at the Soutzou Palace, headquarters of the Bucharest City Museum, on September 20th, 2011, Academician Răzvan Theodorescu evokes the personality of Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, one of his former teachers – a graduate from a series of law and letters faculties in Italy and France, lecturing at the Faculty of Bucharest then, after 1948, during the new Communist regime, working as a research worker at the Archeological Institute, and being permanent collaborator of the Bucharest City Museum. |
