| Excerpt | One of the most durable and enduring Romanian monuments was created by the playwright I. L. Caragiale: one of his best plays, „O Noapte Furtunoasă" (A Tempestuous Night) is, indeed - as the author of the present article points out- one of the Romanian monuments that cannot be demolished, bearing with it, the memory of a Bucharest of yore, with its patriarchal look but also aiming at showing off its „Little-Parisian" glamour. The article remakes the route of the main characters from the Union Café Concert to their home. |
